Merion Mercy Academy, an independent Catholic college preparatory school for girls in grades 9-12 outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, seeks a dynamic marketing professional to develop, implement, regularly assess and update an integrated enrollment marketing plan. As a member of the enrollment management team, the Enrollment Marketing Manager (EMM) will support the Director of Enrollment Management and provide leadership to advance Merion Mercy’s position in the market.  This is a twelve month, full time position with full benefits.

Reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment Management, the Enrollment Marketing Manager is responsible for increasing top of the funnel inquiries and supporting the enrollment efforts through all levels of the funnel.  He/she is responsible for increasing brand awareness, visibility, and inquiries through development of a strategic marketing plan as well as developing marketing assets, collateral, supporting materials as well as managing the school’s social media account.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Strategic Marketing

  • Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management on specific marketing and enrollment plans, strategies, initiatives and activities to promote MMA to prospective students and parents and engage them in the MMA experience.
  • Develop comprehensive competitor analysis of innovative enrollment marketing initiatives, including but not limited to digital advertising, website, event marketing, print materials, video, photography, and communication plan.
  • Research new trends as well as best practices in independent school enrollment marketing to improve effectiveness of content and meet enrollment goals.
  • Along with the Director of Enrollment Management, collaborate on best practices for our collateral fulfillment for the admission cycle, including the summer programs.

 Strategic Operations/Execution

  •  Manage and oversee all aspects of the Academy’s social media presence ensuring best practices in content management, consistency in messaging and integration of brand identity. Analyze metrics to continue to enhance MMA position within the social media space.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development and staff to ensure social media presence and use for fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop benchmarks, data metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness of strategies and support decision making.
  • Develop relationships with “feeder” schools through enrollment management and marketing efforts.
  • Oversee all promotional advertising.
  • Provide marketing support, photography and videography for school events
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Three to five years of experience is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date best practices in digital communications/social media.
  • Creative, flexible, adaptable professional; sense of humor appreciated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in education or non-profit world is preferred.

  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
