Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart seeks a Marketing and Communications Associate to oversee the marketing and communication activities of the school beginning June 1, 2024.

Rooted in the more than 200-year tradition of the Society of the Sacred Heart, the mission of Princeton Academy is to develop young men with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. Princeton Academy has established itself as an outstanding school for boys that educates the whole child: intellectually, spiritually, morally, socially, emotionally, and physically.

The Marketing and Communications Associate ensures that the school has a highly effective website to attract new candidates and works to ensure that internal families receive clear messaging and updates from the school. They work closely with school leadership team to execute initiatives and events, such as Admissions Open Houses and the Spring Gala.Additionally, they are responsible for updates to the website, social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, X, and creating ads, banners, and marketing materials for admissions and development.

Key areas of responsibility are as follows:

  • Oversee and direct the strategic vision, day-to-day operations, and brand messaging of marketing at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart.
  • Serve as the lead storyteller ensuring all communications reflect the school’s mission, voice, and brand.
  • Develop a comprehensive multi-tier marketing plan to support the individual initiatives across various divisions and departments, including Lower School, Middle School, advancement, admissions, athletics, etc.
  • Own the underlying technology, structure and content of the schools website.
  • Ensure the website design and content is a powerful marketing and communications asset.
  • Manage digital communications content across the website, email and social media, and all printed materials.
  • Own and define all elements of the style guide and advise others on appropriate use.
  • Work collaboratively across the Institutional Advancement team including, advancement, admissions and alumni relations, leading to increased engagement, enrollment, and gift production.
  • Work closely with the Board of Trustees and the Enrollment Management and Marketing Committee.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years experience working in Marketing and Graphic
    Design, preferably in a nonprofit environment
  • Experience using tools to manage the school’s digital content management system and communication platform and preferably experience with Finalsite
  • Experience with managing websites and using social media.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
