About the Role
Tremont School, a small independent school serving middle and high school neurodivergent students, is seeking a creative and thoughtful Storytelling & Social Media Intern .
This role focuses on capturing and sharing authentic student experiences and helping shape the public voice of our neuroaffirming school community.
What You’ll Do
Create and manage a weekly social media content calendar (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Write and draft posts, captions, and short-form storytelling content
Support a weekly school newsletter and a monthly community newsletter
Develop student and program stories (projects, performances, field experiences)
Design simple graphics (Canva or similar tools)
Assist with event promotion and documentation
Track basic engagement metrics
What We’re Looking For
Interest in marketing, communications, education, or nonprofit work
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Basic design skills (Canva or similar)
Ability to work independently and follow through
Bonus (not required):
Experience with Squarespace/website content management
Experience with InDesign
Photography, video, and/or analytics experience
Details
Time commitment: ~10–12 hours/week (flexible)
Location: Hybrid; some on-campus presence preferred
Supervision: Regular check-ins with school leadership
Academic credit: Available (we will coordinate with your program)
